Despite the fact that independent surveys carried out over the last eight years stated that future home buyers, preferred bungalows over all other house types, we believed that a fresh new approach to single storey design was essential.

Our research shows that bungalows are still perceived by some home buyers as boring expressionless boxes that typify the architecture seen in some of our coastal towns. The term bungalow confuses many of our customers. Once they see that bungalows can have additional accommodation in the roof area, they tend to opt for the bungalow over a traditional two storey home.

The new Infiniti range not only challenges those preconceptions but goes a long way to quite literally “think outside the box”. The designs are fresh and lifestyle driven and by building into the useable roof space, it is now a myth that bungalows have to be land hungry.

The new Infiniti range has been developed in line with new research carried out amongst both existing and potential self builders, 70% of whom wanted to make use of the roof space, 56% said they preferred open plan living spaces and 83% said they wanted vaulted ceilings.
